"Spent a winter wonderland of a week at Mont Cervin and can't recommend it highly enough. 15min walk from town but you never have to do the uphill yourself because the wonderful owners will shuttle you to and from the ski fields. At night they'll shuttle you up to the main strip for dinner and it's an easy walk back! I recommend adding on the brekky option, saves a lot of hassle and is delicious every morning. "A very comfortable stay for us on a road trip. The property is located in the mountains, about 30-45 minutes to the coastline where all the actions are. Rooms were very clean and spacious. We had rooms that overlook the ski lifts. We went during the quiet season so there was limited dining options. "Akakura Onsen is a small town and everything is fairly close by but thanks to the hotel we enjoyed discounts to renting the ski equipment at the shop nearby. We also enjoyed private use of the onsen for half hour each day and the English-speaking hotel stuff was super friendly and helpful."

"I knew I wanted to snowboard at Lotte Arai Resort but I read that it was in a very small town and basically only the resort buildings so i picked this spot because they offered a free shuttle to the nearby mountains. (Not Lotte though its a 40 minute drive and I had to get a separate bus. It was very easy though and the owner was able to help me figure it all out. "ゲレンデ内にあるロッジですが、結局リフト券を買うために一度ゲレンデから出る必要があるため、ゲレンデ内にある意味はありません。むしろ不便です。雪が降っていると、圧雪も除雪もされていない雪の中を長い時間歩く必要があるため、街へ出かけるのも一苦労です。施設自体は値段相応ですが、スタッフの方は皆さま対応が良かったです。"
