"I had a very comfortable stay at JR East Hotel Mets Tachikawa. The location is excellent and being directly connected to Tachikawa Station makes it extremely convenient for travel, shopping, and dining. Everything you need is within walking distance. "Decent size room for Tokyo and although they do not offer as many amenities as other hotels, I think it's reasonable given their budget price point. A bit of a walk from the Metro station that connects to central stations like Tokyo and Ginza but the area is very quiet, located in a residential area on a street lined with shops that seem to be frequented by locals. Lots of small restaurants with a lot of character. Loved the area!"
