"Charming boutique hotel on the east side between Park and Lexington. Fairly convenient to Theater District - about a 20 minute walk. Area is safer and quieter than midtown west side. However there are fewer dining and shopping options in the immediate area after normal business hours. Room size is adequate and rooms are appointed nicely with 2 free bottles of water daily. "Pod39 is perfectly located for business trips as it is right across the street from my office. The young staff are energetic and helpful and in the case of this trip - went out of their way to get me a room for early check in. Rooms are as the describe - pods- spartan, small and well designed for the minimum needs of sleep and shower. I always have a great stay here and this was no exception. Viva la Pod39! "
