Location is perfect. Rooms were very nicely decorated and everything felt fresh and new. Lobby was lovely too. Was slightly noisy at night time with other guests. No street noise which was good. Very safe and central location.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The doormen were quick and attentive, the cleaning staff were friendly and quick, the cocktail hour was a cute touch, and the front desk staff were so helpful - I even received an upgrade to a larger room facing Park Avenue upon request, which made our anniversary trip all the more special. The renovation is lovely - very modern - and the location is central (almost to central) to the bustle of the city, but honestly, who visits to NYC to only avoid one of its most identifying characteristics. This is a true boutique hotel - it’s small and intimate by design - but I definitely felt like I got a solid NYC experience. Would stay again. :)

We loved our stay at Kimpton Ashbel Park Avenue. The staff especially was a highlight - everyone was friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. Location was ideal, room was clean & well appointed, and the lobby was a great spot for our group to gather for morning coffee or an afternoon game of chess between city adventures. Would gladly return for future stays!
