"Overall, the property meet our expectations, as well had stayed here in the past. However, a recent Corporate makeover of the rooms left me unable to work at the desk in the room. A 'new and improved' desk lamp is only about 10" tall and the light just shines down on the base,. You simply can not read any documents, etc.! I complained to the front deck and they put a big pole lamp at the end of the desk. Much better, I also received a nice note about my inconvenience. I hope that enough people complain and get the desk lamps replaced with something like the old ones! Other than this, we enjoyed our stay."

"The room had clearly had a damp problem, and smelt of damp (I did pass this on). The chair in the room was filthy (I did mention this) - and I'd rather just not of had a chair in the room (I also mentioned that). The bedding and towels appeared clean, which was at least a positive. I left two days earlier than planned."

"Everything about this hotel was perfect for our stay. Such a convenient location if you’re traveling to Stanford or San Jose, about an hour and some change from San Fransisco. The continental breakfast was perfect for us!! They even had different, unique, warm items every morning. Our first morning it was a breakfast burrito, the second it was a Greek egg scramble. Parking was also free, and had optional garage parking which locks at night (though we parked out in the open and had no troubles). My only complaint is that the shower water pressure was horrible, but it got the job done. I still would stay here again a million times."

"We were going to the BTS concert I had to check in earlier. Although we couldn’t check in, they kept our baggage. We didn’t have to wait to collect than five minutes when we came back. It was easy. We got our keys and went up to our room. The only complaint I had was we had a sweet and we needed bedding for the pullout couch. I took an hour for them to bring that and when they did, they forgot the sheets.."

"Hard to rate this one at the moment. It is under renovation which we did not know when we reserved the property just a few weeks before our reservation. Parking was fine, but around construction type equipment. Amenities were really limited as the coffee machines were not up and running, nor was there any water available. They did give us water in bottles, but only after saying "we don't normally do this". Breakfast was very limited for the same reasons. More like a continental breakfast but even short on that."
