We were in the first floor Sapphire room on the back side of the building. Yes, we could people upstairs walking around, but everyone respected quiet hours and honestly it was quieter than many newer hotels I’ve stayed in. "The property was convenient to walk to town. Breakfasts were good and the grounds were very pretty. The dining area was nice and looked out on the gardens and pool. There is a path to the back of the property that conveniently leads to downtown, which was great, but the actual path was a bit treacherous.
