"This place is heaven. The owners are a lovely couple who are genuinely lovely people. They designed this place themselves and the attention to detail is evident. "The thermal spas are amazing. Although the outdoor one for us was closed for the two days for cleaning. Overall the hotel outside of the thermal spas is very dated and not the cleanest. we had some holes in linen and it was all a bit grimy. The staff were lovely and the food was great. "

Helpful staff showed me the ingredients so I could build my own breakfast since I could not complete their Chinese language menu. The bathroom had its own onsen tub, so I did not use the spa."

"The location within the park is wonderful - allows early morning solitary hikes - before the tour buses arrive. Hiking again around noon or after is also better as the tour groups are more spread out throughout the park. The buffet was really good!"
