"Had an excellent stay in November 2026 where I was able to see the famous Alishan "Cloud Sea". Meals at the hotel were excellent, and staying overnight in the Alishan Recreation Forest gave me lots of opportunities to explore the different trails and enjoy the cool mountain air. The hotel staff were very friendly and hospitable; special shoutout to one of the restaurant staff who was very helpful and provided useful advice about the hiking trails in the area, and allowed me to more easily find...

"Super convenient location for alishan train, night market and tourist attractions. The hotel only owns a couple floors of the building so you share the lift with other businesses to reception. They have internal lifts to the rooms itself. The entrance itself looked dodgy but when you get to the reception floor it looked like a nice place to stay at. Super good value stay. "

Helpful staff showed me the ingredients so I could build my own breakfast since I could not complete their Chinese language menu. The bathroom had its own onsen tub, so I did not use the spa."

The property is away from the main road, so it’s quiet, but it’s still a walkable distance to the main attractions. It’s uphill to the bus stop and the attractions, but the host will pick up and deliver your luggage to and from the bus stop. They were really nice."

"We had a bad experience finding the registration office. We came in from a different entrance (#2). There was no sign that the registration office is in a complete different building. My poor old mom had difficulty in walking had to waste her energy in going up and downhill with me trying to ask people and looking for the registration place. We only had a difficult time at the beginning. We enjoyed the rest of the staying because the staff were very nice and the food was great. "
