Having said that we had no idea that we would need to hike uphill for 1/4 Mile on cobblestone streets with our luggage. My husband is an amputee and it was not easy or convenient especially on wet slate. "It’s a lovely apartment with fantastic views. All of the people we spoke to were really friendly and helpful and Montejo is a very charming village. However, it’s not clear from the photos in the description that the pool is a municipal pool nearby which you have to pay for separately, rather than being part of the accommodation. The rooms are all a good size but the main bedroom only has a window onto a small internal courtyard which can be quite noisy. "
