"What a Gem of a hotel in the Eastern Sierra! We loved this unpretentious, very comfortable lodge. Recently remodeled, everything is super clean. Our Room (#1) overlooked Bridgeport's Main Street and the beautiful 1880 courthouse across the street. Main Street is also Hwy 395, but at night it's not busy. The Bodie Hotel is also an old building - it reminded us of a European B&B. Pro Tip: restaurants close early in Bridgeport, so plan your meals accordingly. So, if you're tired of motels,...

"Hotel is centrally located with walking access to restaurants and shops. The young man at the desk was very helpful and the room was clean and well kept. It may have been the smallest room we've ever stayed in and the mattress was more like a full than a queen and it was lumpy ."
