"cute hotel...but overprice for an hotel in full renovation ! At least...when client don't have access to the full resort...don't charge crazy resort fee and parking Location is great...just 5 min walking from doheny state park nice room...but no seal under the door...you hear everything in the hallway DON'T pay for partial ocean view...you have to be on the corner of the balcony ...stretching your neck to see ocean....disappointing Nice staff, good location....mixed feeling"

"The room was spacious and squeaky clean. The ocean view was spectacular. The bathroom was super clean, with a Dyson hair dryer. The massage at the Spa was amazing! The food at TAIKUN over-the-top! This second time was even better than the first! The common areas were very well maintained, with fresh yellow roses and orchids on every table. The valet was very polite, and the front desk was very helpful, explaining all the details. I’ve stayed here many times already, and keep coming back."

"As desert dwellers, we were looking for a fairly local place to get a break from the August heat. This condo fit us perfectly. The location to the beach and free summer trolley stop was perfect. We tracked a lot of miles with our daily walks down to Monarch Golf Course, the beach and around the harbor. As daily swimmers, the pool and hot tub were in great shape and so close to the condo. The interior of the home was decorated in a cute beachy fashion. The two king sized beds were comfortable. The large,well-stocked kitchen was great - for what little cooking we actually did. Dana Point experienced a hot/humid weather pattern during our stay and having air conditioning, made life comfortable. Otherwise, if the weather had been cooler, opening the doors allowed for a great cross breeze. Access to a washer and dryer right at the condo was great. We have already been talking about a possible return in the next year."

"We’ve been spending part of the summer in the Dana Point area for about eight years, and rented this condo three times. It is, by far, the best property we’ve stayed in. Great location, comfortable furniture and the owner couldn’t be more responsive to our questions. Highly recommended."

"There were a few issues in the primary bathroom. Rug in living area had been cleaned and was damp the whole week. It didn’t seem as updated as I originally thought. But it was ok."
