Kailua Oceanfront-60' Lap Pool - Upscale Quiet Neighborhood - Legal

"The place and location are excellent for Kailua beach and groceries. One thing to note is that there are two units, one faces the ocean and one faces the back of the property with a view of the neighboring houses, street and pool (we were in the latter). Street is quiet as it is a cul de sac. Also of note is that this is a very authentic neighborhood experience— with construction noises and dogs barking and landscaping staff both in the property and neighboring houses. There are only very quiet cats on the property. The noise was not excessive for us, but a major roof renovation is underway so visitors may want to keep that in mind. The kitchen is well equipped— lots of opportunity for cooking and stocked for coffee and tea. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine (so nice!), flowers, and lovely toiletries. Amply supplied with towels. Well lit and a lovely lanai on both sides for eating and relaxing. Shower is great. Access to the loft is via a ladder — so be sure you are very spry if you’re planning to spend anytime up there. Bring eye shades if you are sensitive to light.wonderful place!mahalo for having us!"

"The VRBO was very clean and inviting. We absolutely loved the oceanfront view from our window and kitchen. We especially enjoyed sipping our coffees during the early morning, watching the waves crash into the rocks. The hosts were very friendly and responsive."

"Winter getaway Feb/March 2026. We knew February could be a wet month but it was still 40 degrees warmer than where we travelled from and the rain was warm and did not stop us from getting out and about. Check-in couldn’t have been easier and Scott checked with us regularly to make sure all was well and to answer any questions we might have. The home was very clean, comfortable and colorful as depicted in the pictures and is well equipped. There are plenty of towels and inflatables for the pool and sand chairs available for the beach. Kailua beach was only minutes away where we took long walks and were even able to catch early sunrises several times during our stay which were gorgeous. The private yard and pool provided a beautiful setting for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We highly recommend this property. Scott is a great host and very accommodating. We had a fantastic time. "
