And the food, get the package with the breakfast buffet at La Fontana. Fresh, full of flavor, and delicious...the staff in the restaurant is top notch. Melissa, Miguel Angel, and Jose Luis are who to go to...they will take care of you like you are a member of the family. Easy to get an Uber to anywhere in the city (Frida Kahlo, Belle Artes, Templo Mayor) for $10-$20 USD. Safe and walkable area, close to the Monument to the Revolution and great restaurant options. Street vendors with handmade arts and crafts, and the FOOD!!!! Already planning my next visit! "

"The good: Location, English speaking staff, luggage storage, 1 PM check out, close to all attractions in city center and a ton of restaurants. On-site restaurant too. The bad: Location. The street closes suddenly from time time when there are civic protests and marches etc. Not the fault of the hotel. Then you walk a bit to catch a taxi etc. Of you get your room cleaned by staff during a multi-day stay, ensure that you got all towels, etc. as they check at the time of check out. We were a hand towel short. We explained that we never got it and they accepted our explanation. "
