「In need of repair and remodel」

「Room was fine until it rained and my window started not just leaking but water was pouring into the room. Staff moved me into a different room that had a similar problem as the first. Floor by the AC unit was damp the entire stay. No mention of any accommodation for getting moved into a “downgraded” room. Would only plan on staying here if the weather is going to be clear with no possibility of rain at all. Other than that, staff was nice and breakfast wasn’t bad.」

「You can tell this was once a grand, luxurious hotel that has seen better day. It still has lovely bones but the wall paper is peeling, the bathtub in our room needed remodeling. When we walked in the building on one end (not the main lobby) you could smell cigarette smoke. The sheets on our bed were scratchy. 「Our stay at this motel was pretty good. Everything was as expected for a budget motel. Room was very clean and the bed was soft and comfortable. Check in was smooth and staff was very pleasant. One thing that surprised us was how quiet this property was, at night there is almost no noise at all. Rooms are very spacious and everything in the room worked as it should. The only complaint that I have is the wifi. There is almost no signal at all. I would recommend this property to those who...
