「Didn’t get to code on time to get checked in. Waited 20 min at the door in the heat. Someone who lived at the property let us in. I reached out to them earlier in the day to ask for an earlier check in because my mom wasn’t feeling well. I literally had to argue with the rep to give us more towels. The refused to give me another blanket. Apartment is not handicapped accessible. Had to walk 4 flights of stairs with luggage and my elderly mother. The whole process the worst ever. 「This is our second time staying at the Gem Suites in Evanston. Everything is very clean. The staff is proficient and the breakfast is enjoyable. We also appreciate the free parking. We enjoyed ourselves and we come again last time. We had a larger suite which we liked better at our last stay. I would recommend this to any traveler who is staying for a couple of days and would enjoy an entire suite filled with a kitchenette.」
