We arrived at the hotel at about 5.30pm after a long day. Checked in ,no problem, asked what time the restaurant was open, and were told it was open until about 8.30pm. We were told this by Patrick, the duty manager (who admittedly had only been at the hotel for 4 days) he also gave us a copy of the full menu.
Get up to our room, and discover that wifi doesn't work!! Back down to the desk,and are told that the wifi repeater is on the opposite side of the hotel to our room, and on our side of the hotel wifi doesn't work!!!
Decide to watch tv for a while before eating,there is no hotel tv guide in the room! so you have to scroll through about 90 channels to find the one you want!!
About 7pm decide to go to the restaurant, only to be told by the girl behind the bar, that the restaurant is closed on a Sunday!!! and they only serve bar snacks. So for our evening meal, we ended up with a bowl of chips and some chicken wings, which my wife wouldn't eat.
Get up in the morning, go to have a shower, and attached to the mirror is a properly printed sign, which states:
Due to the age of the building and the state of the pipework, you might not get any hot water!!!! Please turn on all hot taps and if no hot water comes through, please contact the front desk!!!
Luckily we did eventually get hot water.
So all in all I would rate this hotel as probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and would not recommend to anyone.
