"This was a short overnight between planes so did not stay for breakfast. Extremely convenient to Cairo airport e.g. 5 minutes and shuttle is every half hour and they provide a system to meet outside the terminal. the staff was very responsive to emails and questions. Would recommend without concern if an airport location is needed. "

"Room had bad annoying cigarette smell , only one towel in toilet, carpet smells , very narrow corridors, small windows ( very dirty windows)."

"An excellent hotel, with many facilities. Extremely clean and pleasant appearance, and excellent, welcoming staff. Reception very welcoming and efficient on arrival, and checkin very quick.We were given a room change at our request, and with availability of rooms with our preferred view, we were very quickly accommodated and assisted to move rooms to our preferred side of the hotel, giving ourselves and son rooms on the same floor and vicinity. Nothing otherwise wrong with the room. Buffet breakfast had plentiful choice, food was fresh and well presented. Sports bar good but air conditioning too harsh for us and others. Staff pleasant and helpful, and thank you to Asmaa our room attendant who kept our room immaculately clean and tidy throughout our stay. Always pleasant smiling and welcoming. Also a big thank you to Gloria, Guest Relations Manager who helped to make our stay such a good experience, and ensured that our stay was as good as it possibly could be, ensuring that any issues were dealt with quickly and effectively. This was our second stay at this hotel snd I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially those like ourselves who were only staying for a short visit. It was a haven for relief from the noise, hustle and bustle of the busy city, and it is very easy and inexpensive to take taxis to anywhere within the city. We stayed on the fourth floor overlooking the pool, and couldn’t hear the planes at all, and would definitely stay there again."

"I stayed at the Sonesta for almost a week while in Cairo. The room was spacious and comfortable, my bed was very comfortable. The entire hotel is well maintained and up-to-date. The staff were attentive and polite, though as a hotel that hosts numerous travel groups it can be very busy. The location is well situated close to the airport, but it is probably half an hour by car from major attractions. One plus is that it is just 10-15 minutes’ walk from the Stadium metro station should you wish to see Cairo that way."

"Fantastic! We loved our stay at the Renaissance. We felt secure and well looked after by all the staff. It’s almost an entire resort in itself with several restaurants and bars. All the food was excellent. The pool area was well attended and clean but not crowded. There was an abundance of staff on hand ready to assist and serve at all times. Our room was cleaned spotless every day beyond expectations. We will be back."

"Our stay was room only for a week, the room was spacious, all amenities available including tea and coffee facilities, fridge and a safe. Iron and hairdryer. Water bottles was left every morning when room was cleaned. There is a roof pool and seating area but unfortunately the pool was very cold to swim, not heated in May. Staff everywhere helpful and polite. Security at front of hotel and location great with great shops around "

"Breakfast was great and always fresh. The AC worked very well, the room was clean, and the housekeeping team was very polite and professional. The only issue I faced during this stay was with one of the reception staff members, who was uncooperative and did not follow the reservation details correctly. The situation became frustrating to the point that I was considering cancelling my stay. However, the Duty Manager, Mr. Ahmed Said, handled the situation professionally and resolved everything in the right way. Also, during check-out, Mr. Yousof Motaz was very cooperative, efficient, and helpful. Overall, thanks to the support and professionalism of the management team, my experience ended positively."
