"First time ever we cut our losses and boarded a flight home 60 hours after arrival. This property high in the hills over a motorway in an area with few pavements which where not being dug up was a total rip off. We were expected to know it was up in the winding
hills with 24/7 noise from the motorway and nearest supermarket 45 minute walk away. A taxi back in from there cost €15. Taxis up and down to Funchal approximately €20 a day. We never got any sleep from our arrival on Sunday until we got home Wednesday afternoon. Even with all doors and windows closed the traffic noise was incessant Bay bliss apartment listing was totally misleading and Expedia also at fault for not scrutinising this listing before advertising.
