The hotel was clean with great amenities and a wonderful daily breakfast with many options. The staff was lovely and helpful. There was construction going on at the time so that was a bit noisy, but was not a hindrance. I would stay there again.

It was a short visit. Therefore, i did not get to use all facilities, like, the 'swimming pool'. Staff were very helpful at the cafetaria and reception. They spoke english. I will surely recommend.

Pros: Clean, polite & helpful staff especially the lovely lady on reception who is very helpful,wonderful views from my sea view room, good sized room, overall good value for money. Cons: the hotel restaurant is very expensive & the food quality average. Far from the centre of Funchal but a shuttle bus provided & there is a public bus stop outside the hotel entrance which takes you into Funchal. There are no restaurants or shops in the local vicinity you can walk to.

Lovely hotel with a spectacular view of the ocean. The food was amazing. The staff was in general nice, esp the lady who served the snack bar Wednesday night. Can’t recall her name but she was lovely. The only thing that bothered me a bit was that there was no mini bar price list in the room, so I was under the impression the bottle of water was for free. Next day I had a 6€ bill on my desk. I don’t mind paying these prices, it would just be good to be notified about costs beforehand.

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, zwei unvergessliche Wochen in diesem traumhaften Hotel auf Madeira zu verbringen, und ich kann mit voller Überzeugung sagen, dass es eine der besten Entscheidungen war, die wir treffen konnten. Das Hotel bot uns von Anfang an ein Gefühl von Luxus und Komfort, das all unsere Erwartungen übertraf. Bereits bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen und mit einem Begrüßungsgetränk willkommen geheißen. Das Personal war durchweg äußerst freundlich, zuvorkommend und stets bemüht, unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Diese Professionalität und Gastfreundschaft hat uns den gesamten Urlaub über begleitet und uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Unser Zimmer war ein wahres Highlight: Geräumig, modern eingerichtet und mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf den Atlantik. Jeden Morgen wurden wir vom sanften Rauschen der Wellen geweckt und konnten den Sonnenaufgang von unserem eigenen Balkon aus genießen. Die Sauberkeit und der tägliche Zimmerservice waren tadellos – wir fühlten uns rundum wohl. Die Hotelanlage selbst ist ein kleines Paradies. Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Madeira hat landschaftlich so viel zu bieten und durch die zentrale Lage des Hotels konnten wir die schönsten Orte der Insel in kurzer Zeit erreichen. Das Hotel bietet zudem zahlreiche Freizeitaktivitäten und Ausflüge an, sodass uns nie langweilig wurde.

Das Zimmer war super. Sehr sauber und ein toller Blick über Funchal. Leider entsprach das Frühstück nicht einem 4-Sterne Hotel. Die Auswahl war dürftig und der Kaffee ging gar nicht.

Très bon rapport qualité prix

Chambre avec vue sur mer et Funchal, lit king size, chambre spacieuse, service irréprochable, navette régulière pour Funchal aller ou retour. Belle piscine avec vue. Petit déjeuner compris, buffet diversifié. Petit point négatif le bruit de la route en journée mais difficile sur l’île d’avoir un hôtel avec vue sans route à proximité et c’est à mettre en rapport avec le prix très compétitif. J’y retournerai sans hésiter.
