"We stayed here in late October 2026 and I want to share honest feedback that I hope is useful to the host.Cozy and cute place inside, the hosts were very nice and quick to reply. The location is a rather hard to arrive to.The hot water was unreliable for our entire stay. Most days the showers were cold, and on the days when hot water did come through, it was on and off. The bathtub advertised in the listing was not usable; only the showerhead worked, and mostly with cold water. The location felt...

Mist-shrouded stone terraces reveal themselves best when you arrive for sunrise, before the crowds fill ancient pathways. Hire a local guide at the entrance who'll explain how Incan engineers built a city that still channels water after 500 years.
After reading reviews of Aguas Calientes in general, I was leery of the accommodations available. This was so inaccurate! The town is much better than what I read, and this hotel was the best one yet! (Better than Cuzco, Lima, and Ollantaytambo) The bed was bigger than my king at home. That alone made me smile when I walked in. I highly recommend this hotel. We stayed for three nights and loved it. It actually felt like a vacation.

I came to Aguas Calientes alone as a solo female traveler heading up to Machu Picchu, and this place was absolutely perfect in every way. Jaw dropping river views with the rushing water so loud, I was in heaven. I loved my morning coffee on the patio looking at the river. The service was impeccable and the breakfasts hearty - all I could have hoped for.

This hotel is literally steps away from the entrance of Machu Picchu, which means you can easily catch both sunrise and sunset at the site, as well as leave and re-enter. The staff is truly exceptional. Rodolfo and Erving were incredibly helpful, considerate and accommodating. Dinner menu and service very impressive, but the lunch buffet is outstanding in terms of quality, presentation, and selection. Would highly recommend! More than fair value for the cost considering inclusion of meals and...

This place was great! Recommend to all. The staff go above and beyond to help you and make you feel welcome. Clean, solid breakfast, very kind staff who asked us every time they saw us if we needed anything (and offered toiletries, towels, room cleaning, directions, advice). The polla a la brassa across the street was very good and only 30 soles per meal--don't get ripped off by the tourist restaurants on the main street.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. We walked in dirty and dusty from 4 days on the Inka trail and they immediately warmly welcomed us with refreshments and comfortable seating as they checked us in from their lobby couches instead of standing at the counter! The food was AMAZING! We had a beautiful balcony outside our room overlooking a park and the river. The service was fantastic. A hotel employee went to the train station to purchase our tickets, they held our luggage the next day while...

I highly recommend this hotel. I would stay here again. We were here for Machu Picchu. Excellent stay. Had a room on the 4th floor over the river. The river is kind of loud, but great windows so it seemed more like a "white noise" in the background which was quite nice actually. Despite its proximity to the station, we could not hear any train at all from our side. There is a train that passes literally 5 feet in front of the hotel so get the river side if possible. All the staff were...

I cannot say enough great things about Naturalodge! They met us at the train station when we arrived, carried our bags for us, assisted me to get an additional room, provided wake up service, a delicious fresh cooked breakfast at whatever time you need (5 am for us), stored our luggage, and let us hang out in the lobby after check out! The rooms were clean and comfortable:) Everything was so accommodating! Just a warning that there are about 60 steps to climb to get to the hotel, but there are...
