"Beautiful hotel even looking through storm Claudia! The food was first class in the restaurant with some of the best chicken I've tasted. The room was lovely and little touches like light coming on when you opened the cupboard & a night light in the bathroom added to the stay. Bed was soft and comfortable. Very pleasant stay with lovely staff and if we ever go up that was again, definitely high on our list to stay: just hope the weather is better :-)"

"The room itself was pleasant and clean. The staff were helpful. The hotel itself is getting dated and in need of a bit of refurbishment. One major issue, no restaurant. No food available at all, no evening meal, no breakfast, even though breakfast was available when I booked. It could be so much more, set in lovely grounds, quite a nice building, but suffering from a lack of attention to decoration. "
