From the check in process to all the way to check out and preparing our rental car for our next destination was amazing and thoughtfully done. The location is amazing and i would not consider anything else if i am staying in Cologne again.

Great hotel Good location, nice room and helpful staff

This is a great location for exploring Cologne on foot. Good restaurants nearby and kiosks for sandwiches, pastries and coffee, walk to the main train station and most (or maybe all) of the typical things visitors do in this awesome city. It's not in a location overrun with the frenetic tourist "vibe", which is perfect if you've been in that all day. Beautiful St. Gereon's cathedral is only about a block away. Artsy hotel as indicated by the name. Very cool.

Wonderful, compact, quiet, clean room. Nicely located about 10 min walk from central station. Some good food options surrounding the hotel. The climb into the shower was a little intense, but water pressure made it worth it. Front desk service was really excellent. The lobby smells amazing too, they have a signature scent. I would recommend a stay here and would stay here again if I was in the area.

We had a great stay considering the circumstances. We were traveling to Cologne to see family, but at the last minute we were not able to stay with them. So we booked a room via Hotels.com at Hotel An der Philharmonie, but apparently the room was simultaneously booked twice, and when we arrived to the hotel, there was no single room available that could accommodate our family. Luckily the owner, Mrs. K was actually managing the front desk due to an employee being ill, and she gave us 2 rooms...

Loved the friendly staff. They went above and beyond to answer questions and help me to plan my commute to another city. 10/10 for single girls traveling and wanting a central location. Will make this my usual hotel for Köln
