"Clean and comfy rooms. Breakfast was good but scrambled egg could do with been warm. You have to pay to park. There is a good steakhouse opposite, McDonald's and an Italian restaurant 10 mins walk away. Train is a 10 mins easy walk too. Users can be reasonable to expensive. A big thank you to Ibrahim who was always very, very helpful and ready to help with a smile"

"We arrived a little early because it was very hot in the city center. Thankfully, our room was ready and the staff were so kind as to let us into our room early. I had read some reviews that were a little negative and was slightly concerned prior to our arrival. All the negative issues were non-existent for us. Our room was at the end of the hall, near the Autobahn and we did not hear any vehicle noise during the night. The beds were suitable for the sleep that we needed, though a little softer would have been absolutely perfect. The room is actually quite spacious, with a kitchenette, a cabinet that resembles a locker, separate toilet and good sized bathing area. I would say the only negative is that there is no closed in area to change, so if you are there with someone you are not intimate with, it could get a little uncomfortable. Definitely recommend!!"

"Troisdorf is a beautiful place and the hotel was very well located in the centre of time, and a very short walk to the train + bus station where you could quickly get to the airport or Köln hbf. The rooms appeared dated aesthetically, however the facilities provided were very clean and sufficed for our short 3 night stay. The staff were kind and spoke English well enough to converse with us about the local area and our stay. Our main issue with our stay was the noise, our room was located on the first floor by the stairwell and near the front of the hotel. During the nights people would scream, run up and down the hall and stairs, slam doors and overall had 0 hotel etiquette. Loud music was playing in a nearby room at midnight and the whole room was vibrating. During the mornings, potentially due to our room being located next to a storage cupboard for towels etc, the staff would be right outside our door talking loudly and slamming the doors at 8-9 o clock in the morning. This all happened on atleast 2 of the 3 nights. The bed was comfy and the price was excellent so can’t complain, but I think hotel management should do better to combat the yobs running around the hotel in the middle of the night screaming."

"Das Kronprinz was everything we would want from a hotel and sensibly priced. Their breakfast, also reasonably priced, offered a very wide selection. The room was spacious and well furnished and had tea/coffee making facilities. Das Kronprinz is opposite the bus station and only a few minutes from the train station. A 4-minute train ride south takes you to the end of the Bonn tramway system. Cologne central station is about 20 minutes to the north and the airport is only a couple of stops away from Troisdorf. Troisdorf is a pleasant town with a selection of pubs, takeaways and restaurants."
