"The property is sited within walking distance of the beach (up a steep hill). The views from the flat are arguably the best, taking in the beach, sea and St Ives from the living room through massive windows. The layout of the bedrooms is unusual but works well with the children away from the the living room. A useful space outside the front door to dry and keep wetsuits etc safely. Would definitely stay again."

"Really nicely presented hotel in a great location. 5 mins from train station and five mins from the town. Rooms on the smallish side, however the balcony helps as a place to relax. Very friendly and courteous staff so we recommend a stay if you are in the area."

"Absolutely loved our stay in St Ives. Green Apple b&b exceeded all expectations and we will definitely be back. Adrian is a truly wonderful host who made us feel comfortable at all times and nothing was too much trouble. He was always available when we needed him and extremely pleasant to talk to. He is very clued up about the area, this helped us a lot. We also aren't the type of family who would normally eat continental breakfast as we prefer a full english, but it was so lovely! "Lovely old worldly feel to property. We stayed in adjacent lodges. Staff are the outstanding feature of this property including chef . Bed was not king size as advertised and pillows need renewing as seemed hard and worn out....maybe the addition of a pillow menu might be an added benifit. Lodge was of exceptional size and amenity. Make sure you find the walled garden....tranquil and beautiful. Will be recommending to family and friends. "

"The location was superb, room fantastic view however the hotel inside needs some tlc. The carpet inside the lift was worn, the dining room ceiling was patched up; in my room the tiles surrounding the bath needed re grouting, the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling away in the corners and the furniture in my bedroom was shabby and required revarnishing and the paintwork in my room needed touching up and the window frames needed cleaning. The bed through was the nicest bed ever, so...
