"Quiet and clean! Spent the week with my daughter and had such a wonderful vacation. Located on the west side of Maui, near so many sandy beaches and restaurants. Snorkeled at Black Rock beach and swam with the sea turtles and fish only found in Hawaii . The condo had a full kitchen that we used through-out the stay. We never ran out of things to do. There were sea turtles on the beach on the condo property. Spotted whales and dolphins off the coast from our balcony. We looked forward to...

10/10 Excellent

"Check in was a little rough. We payed through Expedia and were told we needed to pay 1,400 deposit , The same amount of the room we booked. Even tho we payed ahead. We had a bit of back and forth when i surrendered and put the card they only charged us $300 deposit, which was the original estimate. If the staff communicated better, check in would have been smoothly and not scary."

"We enjoyed staying at the Aston Kaanapali Shores. I looked for an apartment style hotel that had kitchen and washer/dryer. Breakfast at the hotel can be expensive and since we don't eat a lot, we preferred to cook simple breakfast in the room. Kitchen was well equipped and updated. I did hope they had some cooking oil - we had to buy sticks of butter that we only used very little. We had an ocean view room with spacious lanai which was perfect. Having garage access from the floor we were staying in was very convenient."

"This was such a wonderful stay. We were able to snorkel just a short walk to the beach. It was so convenient to have a kitchen and washer and dryer. We definitely used the outdoor grills a few times for lunch and dinner when we didn’t want to eat out. Room was so comfortable we booked the two bedroom villa it was the best having separate bedroom/bathroom. I usually have trouble sleeping when traveling and I slept so good. We also took advantage of the shuttle bus for the hotel for dining and shopping. Also it is located in a convenient area close to supermarket, food trucks."

"Pretty nice overall, becoming dated for sure but its right on the beach and the staff are great. Slow service at the resturants on the beach, they seemed pretty understaffed during the busy times. We waited a while for attention from servers several times which is a bummer due to how expensive this place is, but otherwise all good."
