「Nice and cozy but need a place to unpack clothing. We stayed a week and had to live out of the suitcases… We did have a few bug issues but being n the woods some are to be expected. Outside the cottage needed to be hosed down from cobwebs, tree dropping, etc. but again being in the woods some is to be expected. Maybe put chair cushions on two bar chairs for comfort? Needed wash cloths for a week long stay. Overall we would stay again but plan better?」

「I am a dad that was doing a solo-trip up to see the area I grew up in. I just picked something cheap and easy.This property is great. The sound system, is amazing stayed up too late watching movies! Hahaha. I would be shocked if someone couldn't find a movie that they really enjoy in the available collection. Documentaries to action to romance to kids to horror, they had something for every taste.I personally like having the rooms on either end. The end with the "master" bedroom is right next to...

「What a gem! Less than 10 minutes from Black Mountain and Jackson Village, but the place is so charming you may not want to leave. It was spotless, quaint, cozy, and has beautiful views. We hope to stay here again!」

「The cottage was well stocked and spotless and very welcoming. My only suggestion is that I would like the bed linens to be laundered in scent free detergent. I have allergies to many scents and I know that many share my problem. ‘We enjoyed the area and loved the cottage.」

「Had a great little getaway at the cottage. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen area was well stocked with plenty of dishes, plates, etc. The bathroom was very clean and had the best water pressure in the shower. I plan to go back in the summer.」

「We had a wonderful stay at Grandma’s with our two little boys and dog. It was clean, cozy and a perfect location for our weekend ice fishing trip! We enjoyed walking the rail trail, watching ducks by the dock, passing snowmobiles, and playing puzzles/games. Highly recommend for a family getaway. We would definitely stay again.」
