Large Secluded Cabin on the Lake - Now booking 2+ night stays
10/10 Excellent
"We had an amazing winter weekend here with friends. The cabin was spacious, cozy, and exactly what we were looking for—secluded, peaceful, and right on the lake. Perfect setup for an ice fishing weekend, but just as great for relaxing by the fire, cooking together, and unplugging from real life for a bit.Everything was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully stocked. The host was responsive and easy to work with, which made the whole stay seamless. Waking up to the quiet lake and woods was a highlight. If you’re looking for a true Maine getaway with plenty of space for a group and a great balance of comfort and outdoors, this place delivers. We’d absolutely come back."
Cozy Long Pond Cottage: private mooring & shared dock
10/10 Excellent
"The cottage was beautiful. Everything inside was new or in new condition. The host was also excellent. During our stay we conversed like we were old friends. Cottage was surprisingly well stocked. I would literally want to stay there again."
"I loved the location of the property. Very private and secluded, even with the other cabin next door. That said, before I checked in, I was notified the primary heat source (pellet stove) was inoperable, and that there was a secondary heat source available. Upon arrival, the cabin was about 40 degrees inside, and the wall mounted propane heater simply could not keep up as the overnight temperatures reached single digits. The cabin was appointed with very warm blankets which helped a lot, but it was still a very, very chilly night. Thankfully the stove was repaired the next day and worked without issue the remainder of my stay. I would also caution you to check your junk emails before arriving. My check in instructions wound up in my junk mail, and there's nothing listed on Vrbo in regard to checking in or out, it's only in the emails, so bear this in mind. All in all, this was a great place and I enjoyed my time here aside from the first night. I will likely stay here again in the future. "
