"For the off season in NC, this was a good deal for a boutique hotel. It is small and quaint. We were in Room 7 which is TINY and has a European bathroom. We were fine but double check that if it’s an issue for you. There’s live music often in the restaurant and our room is directly above it. We liked the music but if you are looking for peace and quiet, it might not be the best place for you. Also, their Sip and Stay discount DOES NOT APPLY if you book anywhere but their website so just a heads up. They don’t explain that on their website or social media. Maggie was great to work with."

"I have stayed there twice as a single traveler. The rooms have been super clean, smartly decorated and very comfortable. I love their concept - take an old school travelers motel, keep the art deco feel of the past but have modern amenities and updated bathrooms and beds. The little record players and a few albums are a cute touch. Keep up the good work!"

"There are lots of workers staying at the hotel. They were super loud until 2-3am playing music from their trucks in the parking lot which is right up against the hotel rooms and drinking out on the walkways. There are shipping containers stacked in the parking lot. The night clerk was contacted to ask for assistance with the noise level and said “there is nothing I can do about it.” We were supposed to stay 4 nights but left after one night after getting very little sleep. The hotel did agree to refund the remainder of our stay. But it caused an inconvenience and a waste of one of our vacation days having to check out and then check into another hotel. "
