This was exactly how I expected it to be from the listing. We stayed with my 75 year old parents, my 18 year old daughter and her friend, myself and hubs, and our 1.5 year old son. We spent most of our days and nights enjoying cocktails on the lanai, cooking in our take out, and an hour or 2 on the beach every day.
We didn't turn on the TV - NOT ONE SINGLE TIME! We enjoyed the ocean views and sounds of the waves and birds. We cooked in some, and made our way around to the local eateries.
The owners were phenomenal at their correspondence over the text thread and in person.
The kitchen is FULL with every sort of utensil, cups, plateware, cookware, you name it! It was glorious!
Shopping for your stay- even tho the owners don't stock the home fully, they don't believe in waste either. We used the left over sunscreens and shampoos, then replenished when we opened the containers we took.
Take inventory before you go shopping. There are things others have left behind that you might use! (Seasonings, cooking oils, etc...) There was plenty of toilet paper for all of us for a week, but we bought paper plates and paper towels. We are also used to camping, so we continued to air dry our towels and reuse. So if you're not used to that, bring extras or do laundry at the coin-op.
We seriously didn't want to leave!
Ps. If you're reading the reviews, it's 27 man-steps to the sandy beach walkway. But I'm a woman and it took me 30 steps 😂😂
