Overpriced for Amenities Provided
The best part of this property hands down is the beach location. The house is very basic didint provide many basic amenities my group and I were really expecting in our stay. Especially for the very high price we paid. We all travel for work ALOT and stay in rentals frequently. I own a rental personally so I know what is normal. This house didn’t have basic things like fans in the bedrooms (it was HOT!) and there was no aircon. We understood there was no aircon, but the house should have small fans available in the bedrooms. The shower curtain had black mildew or mold on the bottom! (Gross!) and all the cabinets were basically bare. Only a small amount of plates/ cups, and only like 1 wine glass! Also, there was no basic spices like salt and pepper. There was also no hair dryer, there were flies EVERYWHERE and the property owner definitely needs to invest in some nice non stick pans for cooking. The house also smelled of mildew. Again, the beach at the house was wonderful and we really enjoyed that, but my recommendation for this host is that he get himself over to the dollar tree or Wal-Mart and invest in some basic essential items to make guests stay more enjoyable! $50 bucks goes a long way to helping make your guests feel that the price they paid was worth it.
