"This Sands is a very clean hotel with simple and functional furnishings and a great swimming pool! I found the pool a great place to get some sun and a quick swim. It is on the border of La Jolla, but about halfway between Pacific Beach and downtown La Jolla. The front desk, staff person, and all of the housekeeping and service staff were very friendly and helpful."

"As all Marriott’s this property was well situated within driving distance to anything you’d need. The rooms are large and well laid out. The kitchen could be better equipped with cooking utensils though. Parking is very expensive. "

"We had such a wonderful stay! The views were absolutely breathtaking and truly made the trip feel special. The hotel’s location couldn’t have been more perfect, close to everything we needed while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. Every single person we interacted with was kind, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable and cared for. Their genuine hospitality made our stay even more memorable.
