"Very decent experience. The room is spacious enough for the price. Little far from any nearest stations, but it locates in a very quiet, safe residential area near University of Tokyo. "

"The Metropolitan Hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is also very conveniently located close to a train station. I would highly recommend this hotel. "
"The location was great. The room was a bit awkward as you can only fully open your suitcase on your bed. But for the price point it is not a big deal. I stayed an extra day. "
"Good stay. We did find a used dirty product wrapper between bed and window sill. Otherwise everything was clean. Was worried it will be small from reviews but we had plenty of space for 6 nights staying as a couple. The bath was nice and deep. The mirror desk area had good lighting for makeup. The Onsen was phenomenal to end and start the days with. Use ueno station exit 3 as its the closest one. For improvements, I wish Apa hotel had a public meeting space. And we had fresh towels but also cups, yakutas and hygine supplies brought outside our door every morning which was wrapped in a lot of plastic. I appreciated it but It's lots of plastic waste. Would stay again. Great staff too."
"Amazing place to stay! Clean and the staff was very friendly. Walking distance to the train station and plenty to do in the area. Can’t wait to come back! "
"The staff at both MONday properties were wonderful. We accidentally went to the wrong location and the welcoming team at the hotel kindly directed us the the right hotel and called the right hotel in advance to let them know we had arrived and was due there shortly. Luckily we weren’t the only family that went to the wrong hotel. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very kind and welcoming. "
"We loved staying here. The staff was great, the rooms are spacious and clean and it is right in front of the park, so we could go for a run in the morning, as well as admiring the view from our window. It's very well connected with buses and metro lines - the shinkansen also stops at Ueno so it's a good location. Plenty of food options around and uber eats delivery. We will definitely come back again."
"The front desk staff were very kind and courteous. The Pop Up bar was a really cool concept with a good drink selection. The room was clean and the amenties offered in the lobby were very helpful."
"Great location — just 1 minute from the station! The staff are friendly and helpful. There’s a convenience store nearby, and plenty of restaurants and izakayas (Japanese-style pubs) within walking distance."
