"Second stay at this ryokan after a perfect stay last year. Location is perfect - on the willow-lined river street close to onsens. Quiet, comfortable rooms. Public and private onsen on site, excellent dinner served at the restaurant. Air conditioning wasn’t cooling the room completely, but staff were accommodating with extra fans. It's close to the town, which has good izakaya and other options if you're not on a meal plan. There is also a Lawson close-by. On weekdays especially the hotel is an active construction site inside and out. It probably isn't what the workers want, to have to share a construction site with guests. It...
