"Location was good, close to cable car and bus stop. The property is in desperate need for some TLC. rooms are very tired, worn down and neglected. Not to resemble a true Ryokan. Charging 3*hotel rates but supplying a poor hostel standard. I skipped the second night and got a beautiful room in town for half the price. Breakfast was ok. "

"This is a hidden gem in my opinion. Location was super convenient, right next to the river and Amanohashidate sandbar. Very cleans and well maintained room, even has a massage chair in the room. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something more authentic and don’t mind that the place doesn’t have a lift and concierge/front desk."

The hotel is a very nice place, rooms are confortable and nicely decorated, hotel's people are very nice (speak a bit of english) and always available to help you. The hotel is 5 minutes away from Fukuchiyama station, from here you can go easily to Amanohashidate, Miyazu, Maizuru, Takeda castle ruins etc... pretty convenient place to stay. "昔の家の形を残しつつの宿泊施設になっているため、普段体験できない日本の昔の和を体験することができました。一日だけの滞在でしたが、中庭が特に印象的でした。"

"蔵に宿泊しました。気温などにもよるのかもしれませんが、トイレと浴槽の水回りの匂いが気になりました。換気扇の出力を高めた方が良いかもしれません。設備は1階にも別にエアコンがあると良いと思ったのと、構造上難しいのかもしれませんが、居間にも流しがあれば、簡単な調理ができるのにと思いました。昨年、離れの方を利用して、設備面が完璧だったので少し残念。半面、1人で独占して使える点は良かったのですが。あと、価格がもう少しリーズナブルだと助かります。"
