Location is very quaint and I loved all the statues decorating the place. The bath was super nice! Would recommend staying here and getting the dinner & breakfast experience - the food smelt so good! We enjoyed the half-board stay, and the food was sumptuous and beautifully prepared. The room was peaceful and comfortable, with a relaxing private onsen. "Room was huge as with Ryokan style accommodation and generally clean, What great is the reservation system for onsen so you can have a private slot for yourself/family instead of the usually gender sharing arrangement. It is about 10-15 minutes walk to Yunotsubo Kaido and 5 minutes to the train station and Aeon supermart. Unlike some osen town eg. Hakone, there is plenty of food option at night."

AMANEK Beppu YULA-RE

AMANEK Beppu YULA-RE

10/10 Excellent
"Location - great. Quick walk from the Beppu train station. Many restaurants and convenience stores close by. Rooms - Amazing. Very well maintained, modern-Japanese decor. Staff - Very nice and attentive. Breakfast - Amazing with some local food. Amenities - The infinity pool on the rooftop is pretty big, with amazing view. The onsen (hotsprings) was amazing with the ocean view. Extra - 1500-yen per night for unlimited alcohol, which is a great deal! We were very happy with our stay."
