This small hotel is really cute. The rooms are clean, equipped and super nice! The staff was really helpful and polite. They have breakfast and they have 2 light meals during the day which were good and perfect for what they are. Really happy with the property and the experience. I loved the bathtub with view on the interior garden.

I first I was nervous to go to a place where I didn't even have anyone who could tell me anything about it. Once I got there and the person doing the check in was Super friendly, patient, and helpful even with the things he didn't know cause he is from Osaka, as he mentioned when I asked about places in the area. The service here is absolutely impeccable. I wasn't sure when booking this hotel if it would meet expectations and there was only sketches for pictures on the site, but it actually exceeded them! It was so quiet there also and in a fabulous location, close to the Castle, train station and numerous other transportation options, great food. The gardens were lovely. At night as it was so quiet, you could hear the several waterfalls and drift off to sleep. It's also in a very pretty part of town....

We had a great stay at Luck You. The staff was extremely helpful and nice, always offering tea and welcoming with a huge smile. The design is lovely and the "breakfast" area is pleasant and peaceful.

The room was beautiful, clean and staff were efficient and gracious.

Everything was great here! It was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet, calming, and peaceful. The house was stalked with all the amenities and the staff was amazing. It was so worth it!

This was a unique property to stay at for our Japan trip. The property was beautiful and was definitely an experience I recommend. Staff was so helpful when first arriving. They try their best to explain things, especially with a language barrier for myself. The hospitality was exceptional. Would recommend anyone to stay here. A little far of a walk from the main station with luggage so maybe a take a taxi. And have them take you to the check-in area instead of the property itself.

The place was tasteful and had everything I needed. In particular there was a microwave oven in the room which I really appreciated. The hosts were super-nice. One the best places I have stayed in Japan over the past 30 years

An unforgettable traditional ryokan experience! Amazing location, extremely quiet, ultra relaxing, environment to completely unwind. The staff is incredible, the food is delectable, and the tea ceremony (do not skip) is a magical and unforgettable experience. You’re sleeping on a futon on tatami floors in a 157 year old building in historic Kyoto, just as they’ve done for 1,200 years. A wonderful way to spend a night or two during your visit!

Excellent location under a 10 minute walk to Shijo station and Nishiki market is steps out your front door. Lots of restaurants and plenty of room for a family of four. The check-in process is the only odd part but it’s not that difficult to navigate if you arrive at Kyoto Station and it’s easy to catch the subway to Shijo station and walk to the property. Excellent property. We would stay there again. FYI…. The first floor rooms have opaque windows so you have no view. It wasn’t a deal killer...

I did not expect this room to be as big as it was. The bathroom was a tad small, but other than that it was really roomy. I enjoyed the location. The JR station is a bit of a walk but if you take the bus or metro it's not that bad. On that point the building was right next to some railways, but I don't even remember hearing the metro pass by so that's good. The staff was very friendly and provided us with umbrellas when we didn't have any. As for Kyoto goes it was beautiful, definitely have to...

We loved our time here! The room was actually pretty spacious compared to other hotels on our Japan trip around the same price point. It was nice to have a little kitchenette for tea and heating up food as well. Close by to A LOT of great food, activities and a park. It’s also a short walk from Kyoto station. The Resy team was very quick to communicate and give us anything we needed when we asked for it :) Would stay here again!
