This house is gorgeous and was wonderful for our group. The location is perfect and the interiors were all beautiful. Our group enjoyed lots of time cooking together in the beautiful kitchen and enjoying ocean views. Would love to come back again!

Beautiful place right next to ocean saw gorgeous sunsets and a beautiful rainbow one day peaceful Carly was so helpful and got back to us immediately when needed and to hear the waves in the ocean was serene. would definitely stay here again and again. The place was clean and organized thank you!!!!

What an outstanding house. Well stocked with utensils and everything you would want. Very clean. Spacious! The view was spectacular for watching whales.

What a view!!!! You know they always say location, location, location and from the ocean views to the sunsets to the great beaches, Tidepool Getaway does not disappoint! Stepping into the massive living area and seeing the spectacular view was breathtaking! The kitchen is a dream and very well appointed and equipped, even when there are multiple people cooking. Having the AC in each room was great because everyone was able to adjust to their own comfort level. If I could, I would stay here for every vacation! Absolutely fantastic!

Great view of the ocean and sunsets. Perfect for a family (maybe not for a toddler). There were some beach chairs and toys. Kitchen worked great for cooking for 4 people. Small but well equipped. We had a very nice stay.

The property needs a desk setup of some kind. There were requests to fix the patio door and patio chairs that were not fulfilled. The electric entry gate was also broken. The setting was lovely but the beach was rocky. The tv sound system was weird.

Pros: ✔ Walk to the water from the property + sandy beach easy to get to. ✔ Air conditioning. ✔ 180 degree view of the ocean. ✔ Attentive Host. ✔ Clean House that is Well Supplied Cons: ✗ No dishwasher. ✗ Hour drive from Airport. ✗ Can't think of other cons because we loved staying here.

Perfection!

If you're looking to stay in the North Shore area you need to stay here! The home is absolutely perfect and Carly is the best! She was so welcoming and even left a few snacks and drinks in the kitchen for us to enjoy! The house was spotless and we got plenty bath/beach towels to use during our stay. The beach access was the best. We saw so many sea turtles swim past the shore right in front of the house and lots of other critters in the tied pools! The sandy part of the beach is just a short walk in either direction and perfect for sun bathing/swimming. This is the perfect place stay for anyone looking to explore the hikes, beaches and food trucks on this side of the island. We will definitely be coming back to Carly's during our next trip!

A+ for Location and Hosts

We were a little hesitant to book this initially, as it was a brand new listing with no prior reviews. However, we are SO incredibly glad we took a chance. This place was truly epic! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had stumbled upon something special. Being oceanfront was a dream come true for the price paid. Below the property were these magical tide pools that our kids absolutely loved exploring for hours, discovering all sorts of little sea creatures. It felt like having our own private aquarium! The proximity to other amazing spots was a huge bonus. Turtle Bay Resort was just a couple of minutes away (driving), and we were thrilled to find out we could rent their pickleball courts for a very reasonable price. Public parking is free, surprisingly. We also spent a fantastic afternoon paddleboarding in the calm waters of nearby Kawela Bay and spotted some TURTLES! The layout of the rental itself was ideal for our group. The split master suite setup offered us all private space, while still having indoor and outdoor gathering areas to hang out together for a meal, playing games, or just soaking in the incredible ocean views. We wholeheartedly recommend this gem on the North Shore and can't wait to come back!

The pictures do not do it justice; it's an immaculate property with everything you could ever need. We had a group of 12 and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, along with a phenomenal common area for us to play outside and eat big family dinners. I would absolutely stay here again! The beds were comfortable and the showers were great. The only downside is that the beach is volcanic rock rather than sand.

This property is beautiful and right off the beach. Parking is difficult and right off a busy main road but otherwise everything is beautiful! Communication with the property manager is great and she made everything super easy!! Huge kitchen and great for a big family or multiple families!

Best vacation rental we've ever stayed in!

The location is awesome. The kids loved going down to the tidal pools and walking along the beach. The house is unbelievable. Totally redone in a first class manner. We will definitely be back. We were fortunate it was available with such short notice.

Perfection!

Everything, I mean everything, is perfect about this property! Our daughter arrived at the rental first and she texted me immediately to say that it is even better than the photos - which NEVER happens. The location on the North Shore was amazing with so much to do in the area. The property is absolutely BEAUTIFUL inside and out. Plenty of parking. The tide pools were perfect for our grand babies and there was so much space in the house and apartment that our family of 12 adults and 2 grandchildren did not feel crowded. The house had everything we needed - soap, shampoo, conditioner. body wash, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish soap, etc. This is the best rental house we have ever been in. Highly recommend you stay here!

Clean, spacious, and comfortable for a large family.

The property was everything that we could ask for. It had a washer and dryer. It had it gigantic kitchen. A couple of rooms had fridges and microwaves, and they all had air condition. And there were TVs in two rooms for kids. There was plenty of beach things for kids to use like snorkeling equipment, boards, and beach toys. It was in a great location with beautiful trails nearby. The owner also provided a pack and play and plenty of towels and pillows for everyone. There were 17 of us that stayed at the location and one of us enjoyed it. You could hear the waves crashing at night and wake up to them in the morning. We were allowed to hang up a hammock, but there was one already there as well. They also provided beach chairs and there were plenty of areas to sit outside, as well as an outdoor shower, and plenty of hoses to wash off the sand. The whole house was impeccably, clean, and almost all the rooms were facing the ocean. We had enough parking and it was gated. It was incredibly spacious, and the couches, as well as the beds were very comfortable. I like that we were able to sit as a family in the long dining table. It had everything you could think of, as far as kitchenware, and the basics for the kitchen, as well as laundry detergent, which was very very helpful. The instructions to get in and check out were very easy to follow and the communication was efficient.

On Our Favorites List

Lovely north shore property that has been completely renovated. Host is very responsive and available. Plenty of room and close to beach. Tide pools are great for viewing. Sandier areas are a short walk away. Bring or buy reef shoes. We stay in many rentals around the world and this was one of our favorites, ever. I don't say that lightly. Highly recommended.

Private Paradise

This truly feels like a private piece of paradise. We loved seeing the sea turtles float by, walking to the tide pools, and basking in the ocean views on the outdoor loungers. It was so hard to return back home in the dead of winter. Miss it already!
