「Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Promenade und dadurch zentral. Das Parkieren gestaltete sich als sehr schwierig. Wir parkierten dann in einem Parkhaus und erhielten vom Hotel einen Discount dazu. Das eigentliche Fairhaven Hotel ist geschlossen, whs weil es renoviert wird. Das momentane Hotel liegt aber gleich daneben. Dies ist aber auch schon in die Jahre gekommen. Aber es hatte einen Fahrstuhl, was mit schweren Koffern sehr praktisch ist. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das...

「Booked a single room with a shared bathroom. Very good price and was surprised with how good the room was. All the facilities you expect of a larger room fitted perfectly into a single. Excellent views accross the seafront and the centre of town and harbour on my doorstep. I will definately book the seascape again on my next adventure into weymouth.」

「Nice hotel and the room was nice. Wi-Fi did not work in room but did in main hotel. Was nicely positioned a short walk to beachfront. Only downside was not a lot of choice for evening meal. Mainly fish. My husband does not eat fish or meat on the bone. Therefore we ate out after first night. Could have done with more normal choices. Not partridges or game birds. 」

「Very nice place to visit, warm and stylish with wonderful food and service. Place where you can relax and enjoy a peaceful countryside life. Cottage room are very nice with own fire plce and comfy bed but smells old and damp would be nice to have some better ventilation there. Same as swimming pool and jacuzzi nice pool but very shallow, once you in jacuzzi is hard to breathe due to chlorine and bad ventilation. Pet friendly but if you with a pet you have only option to stay in the cottage...

「A warm welcome from the owners at the Dower House. What a lovely stay we had. Such a lovely hotel and grounds, with an outdoor pool too. The rooms are furnished to a high standard, with a comfortable bed,. A quiet location but only 2 miles into Lyme Regis. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.」

「Great location perfect for night stop over. Has everything you can possibly need bed was cosy the room was warm. Shame about the snoring below and woken up at 6am by noises from other units.」

Housekeeping was a bit lacking - our room was quite dusty on some surfaces and well handled parts of the joinery were noticeably dirty eg bathroom door frame. The hotel is right in the centre of everything and the village is incredibly charming. On the whole, we loved our stay.」

「Karen and Graham were excellent hosts and the breakfast was a full English one and many other options in the morning. Pretty easy walk from the train station along the seashore promenade to the Guesthouse. We lucked out with 4 sunny days and enjoyed ourselves as many restaurants and eateries in the neighbourhood.」
