"This is my ABSOLUTE favorite hotel to stay at! So many different reasons! Mrs. Sallie is super sweet! It's in a great location to yummy eateries! Can walk around town. Even though it's by the train, you NEVER even know it's came by! So quiet and relaxing! Hottest shower water! Best blankets! So clean! So unique artwork! Delicious breakfast! MY FAVORITE! "

"Great log cabin with full amenities and lots of activities to spend time with your company. I loved how it felt tucked away from everything and situated in a beautiful piece of land surrounded by trees, and a river close by. Excellent communication with the host. We ll be back again!!"

"The room and staff were great. My only complaint is that the tub needs something on the bottom to prevent slippage and falling when showering. I could not wash my feet for fear of falling in the tub."

"Hotels.cim allowed me to book rooms that they said were not available but they accommodated my group of 5 rooms. The hotel staff was aupper nice and helpful! "

"The facility is still going through a remodel of all the rooms. Entry door felt loose but did lock properly. Mattress was of a much cheaper quality and neither my wife or I slept well due to it. The bathroom door was hung improperly and needs to be either shaved in the top left corner so it will shut as it should. Need to re-caulk the entire shower, especially where the tub meets the floor. Water pressure and shower head were good. Clearly second hand end tables by bed were clean but very worn. A simple sanding and spray painting would do wonders, same goes for the desk. Highly recommend different front window curtains, the room was exceptional bright for sleeping due to the 20 foot tower light in the parking lot, 30 feet from the front door, and the lighting on each room entrance, (all outdoor entrances for rooms). the staff was courteous and tried to assist where they could. This is only one of two hotels in the town of Monticello, and the better of the two. "
