Description:

The interior of “Captain Jack’s Cabin” features many updates including granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, new cabinetry, wood flooring, flat screen television, Wi-Fi internet service and a new bathroom.     The layout is perfect for a couple looking for a beach escape or a small family seeking a great time on the island and Charleston.   A bonus feature at “Captain Jack’s Cabin” is that 201 A Port O Call is an end property, which features extra windows allowing the Carolina sunshine to brighten both the living room and kitchen area.  

Beach access is super easy by either an elevator or staircase just outside of your door.   When you are not enjoying the sun on the beach or playing in the surf, the Port O Call community offers a large swimming pool complex, or you may choose to play a round of golf at the famous Wild Dunes Links Course or Harbor Course.  In fact, the Links Course is only the distance of a Par Five away from “Captain Jack’s Cabin” making it an easy walk.    Huey’s restaurant and bar are in the Links Proshop, making it a perfect choice if you would like to walk to lunch or dinner.

We woke up to the sound of waves breaking and could sit on our porch and watch the ocean. The space is perfect for a couple and we could not have asked for a better stay. Communication from Michael was excellent and made us feel like we were wanted at the property. We loved every second of it.

We had a wonderful stay on Isle of Palms. Capt Jacks had all the needs of home in a super close walk to the beach. Even the chairs and umbrellas were reserved for us on the beach. Michael and management team were wonderful and communicated every needed step along the way to our stay. They provided a large amount of things to do and see and eat. We will be back!!!

Is always special. The confederate jasmine makes breathing feel heavenly. There’s not too many things better than a vacation there. Great food. Great golf. The only reason I’m not living it a 5 star review is the carpet needs some updating or at least a good shampoo. The managing company is awesome!

Condo just as described. Very clean and even SMELLED clean the moment we opened the door! Nice touch to have a few cold water bottles in the fridge when we arrived! Property manager left us a very personal welcome message regarding our National Champion Baseball Vols that had just happened on Monday! Less crowded area of the beach. Overall, great long weekend stay!

Our trip was wonderful. We were a little concerned with COVID but this unit it towards the back of the Wild Dunes which gave us plenty of space to move around and social distance. Plenty of oppositions close for carry out. One of the most relaxing vacations I have had in a long time!!!!!

POC is our favorite rental property, but we have always stayed oceanfront. This time, however, we were in town to help care for a sick family member rather than to relax on the beach. I came across this lovely home and chose it with no real concern to the view. WOW were we pleasantly surprised when we stepped outside! The ocean view from our porch was breath taking - the perfect place to relax after each stressful day. The condo has been nicely updated. It was warm, inviting and very clean. I had the good luck to speak with the owner and found out he has another rental in the same building. I will definitely check out his properties next time we are planning a visit.

Great condo. Great view. We have stayed in Port O Call numerous times. We like to stay right on the ocean, but due to a spur of the moment vacation, there was nothing available. Despite not being directly on the ocean, the view did not disappoint. It was perfect. I loved the furnishings in all of the rooms. Comfortable couches, bedding, and porch furniture. We have two small children and there weren't too many decorations that it was a chore to keep the kids from bothering. I am used to condos having more of a selection when it comes to dishes. With two small children, we prefer to not let them use breakable plates and cups. A few plastic, kid-friendly dishes would be an asset to this condo. TVs were great in both rooms. Loved the way the bathroom is set up. We could easily utilize the shelving for all of our things even though the space is somewhat smaller. For a one bedroom condo, we comfortably slept/lived in this space with two adults and two children. I would highly recommend.

The property was fine. Could use better outdoor furniture and a new bed spread would go a long way. Other then that and the fact we were forced to evacuate it was great. I'm very disappointed in the way the trip insurance is handled. I indicated I needed the trip insurance, thought we had trip insurance but saw too late that it was declined . I came back from my trip looking through multiple emails only to find an email in my spam folder that said I needed to do something to confirm the trip insurance. This wasn't pointed out to me or my husband when we opted in for the insurance so I was very disappointed. We flew in from Denver, Co so not an easy home. This trip was to celebrate the end of my Breast Cancer ordeal only to have yet another ordeal to deal with. Will probably not stay at this location again.
