"Good"

"This was a nice inexpensive option. The hot tub and pool area were very nice. The room was clean (there's always a hair so I don't count that anymore). Normally I would prefer carpet but I think that made me feel like it might be cleaner. I was slightly concerned it would be more noisy for the people below me. Breakfast was meh. Mini muffins, toast, some fruit, peeled hard boiled eggs, 2 cereal options, milk and coffee. I was happy to be able to make my Bulletproof Coffee with real butter. Every place smells like marijuana at this point so I can't count that against them. According to the evacuation picture on the back of the door, there's a smoking hall and a nonsmoking hall but I don't recall having the option so FYI. Hot tub felt great but I could feel gravel under my feet like it's crumbling. Most Budget Hotels I go to say they have a pool and then it's always closed so I was very happy that the hot tub and pool were open! I think this place is popular for people here for construction and various jobs like that. I could hear people talking loudly in the hallway but it didn't seem to carry into the room. We did run the fan all night though. Very few parking spots near the entrance but the lot is not that big."

"The breakfast and selections were plentiful. The room clean and tidy at all times as attendants were there to watch and assist . Checkin I noticed was welcoming and friendly too all on a late afternoon shift. The super shift around 8pm one night easily and cheerfully solved a major problem I had quickly with empathy. I will always book Bayshore Traverse City in the future and by the way great location and quiet beach!"

"Everything here was fantastic! Staff was amazing, it was clean, views were beautiful. My only thing was having to pay $11 per person for a breakfast that was clearly just a continental breakfast and free anywhere else. "
