"The breakfast was possibly the best hotel breakfast we have ever had. Everything tasted GREAT; fresh scrambled eggs, fantastic sausage, very good potatos, bagels, toast, muffins, two types of cereal, etc. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. Ther was some traffic noise in the evening, but we didn't hear a thing as we slept. VERY friendly and helpful staff. Free parking. We enjoyed walking around walking around downtown."

"This historic hotel was a great place for my sister and me to spend a night before visiting Hungry Mother State Park, where our parents used to take us back in the 60s. Staff helped with suggestions of where to eat (Macado's!). We wish there had been an easier way to get our luggage to the elevator - steps are required either from the front or side entrance, but realize that's likely due to the historic limits of the building. We would definitely stay again."

"Room was clean, however, the garbage can in the main room was not emptied out from the previous tenant. EWWWW! Needs a bit of updating - walls looking tired and the carpet was not especially clean. The staff was super nice and everything else was just fine."

"Everything about our staff was wonderful. Great ambiance, staff, breakfast options, amenities, etc. my only complaint the bathroom smelled like sewage. The scent was coming from the toilet bowl and permeated the entire bathroom."

"Great location and price! It was like stepping back into the 70’s. Rumor has it, the complex consisting of multiple buildings tiered into the hill/mountain side (up to the highest point between the intersecting interstates and surrounded by pastureland) was originally a Howard Johnson’s! Worth every bit of the nightly rate, before considering the complimentary breakfast…"

"I was pleased with the welcoming feel, as well as the cleanliness as I walked into the lobby The staff was pleasant.and very helpful as well. The room had been renovated and had several amenities . Free breakfast also. Felt like i was staying in an overpriced hotel. OH.... and the view took my breath away!! "

"The cabin was adorable!! It was pet friendly, clean, and just whatt we needed for our stay. The host was quick to respond to any questions I had and very kind and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this place. And the history behind these cabins was so cool "
