"We loved the cabin. The accommodations were perfect for our adult children, my wife and myself. Gary was very up-front with any minor inconveniences, which were really nothing at all - honestly, they were no bother whatsoever. The cabin was located high enough and far enough above and away from everything to see what we came for: the starry night sky with a bonfire and the sound of crickets and peepers. We really couldn't ask for any more.With that in mind, we were ASKED to make suggestions, and since my wife and I have been spoiled rotten with some cabins up in the Adirondacks which have been around for decades, I thought we would offer some suggestions for what to put in the empty drawers and cabinets. My wife suggested that a couple baking sheets, for things like frozen french fries or whatever, just in case other plans fall through. I noticed that the grill scrubber was pretty much worn out, so I grabbed an inexpensive grill scouring pad and left it there. We also left a roll of inexpensive aluminum foil. Otherwise, the cabin kitchen was pretty well equipped!One final note for anyone with sensitive skin: if you already have issues with this I'm sure you probably come prepared yourself, but just keep in mind that the linens were very clean - but scented with a dryer booster of some kind, I think. Not an issue for most but as I have had issues I thought I would mention it for future guests.But it was a great stay and we enjoyed it a lot. But man, what a dusty road!"

"Pros: night lighting, quiet, W&D, high ceilings, water pressure, beautiful deck.Cons: at first everything inerior seemed clean, but dont look behind or under anything. Spiderwebs and dust. Towels smelled musty, Stained carpets and rugsStained bed pillowsUgly tub and shower caulking. We replaced shower curtain. Broken table leg in loft Broken lamp in LR, Only 2 of 5 drawers worked in the basement dresser. 1 of 2 coffee makers did not work Deck and deck furniture looked like they hadn't been cleaned all summer. Campfire site needs weedwacker. Slippery loose stone on steep driveway. AC was uncontrollable - set to 75, but it ran to 69. One trashbag for a 2 week stay."

"Cozy, comfortable, & very quiet, which we loved. Two couples enjoyed a relaxing long weekend visiting wine country & each other’s company. The living room was roomy & comfortable; the kitchen seemed well stocked. Everything was very clean. We agreed the distance back to “civilization” was well worth it for the peaceful quiet & great value."
