"I had a wonderful stay here. The room was chic, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with that unmistakable Japanese sense of calm and detail. The bathroom was a highlight—modern, beautifully done, and the shower had excellent water pressure (a small thing that makes a big difference!). Overall, a stylish and very Japanese-feeling space that made my trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommended."

"The room was spotless. the location was outstanding--I'd had some concerns not staying at a "Kyoto Station" hotel, but not only was transit very convenient here, you're steps away from the Pontocho Alley and about a 10" walk to the Gion district. I will say the wi-fi was not the most reliable and you are not able to get fresh air in the room at night (staff say there are safety concerns with opening the windows at night). The cafe and breakfast were also excellent with super friendly staff and breakfast at the right portions."
