"Very poor check-in, arrival process at 8 pm. Most things closed, Main Lobby a 15 minute walk away from the ferry arrival location. They need to have staff at the desks near the ferry to help with check-in and check-out. But overall a very nice resort with good beach and pool and good taxi service. Food options are pretty good but service is slow in the evenings. Like the ease of the ferry/shuttle service to and from the resort/airport. Appreciate the washer/dryer and the supplies provided with the room. Nice landscaping and love the iguanas and chickens!"

"An amazing ocean front property! There are two separate living areas -and the basement apartment worked great for moody teenagers ;-)Snorkeling right off the rocks every day was a highlight for sure (a little rugged getting in but totally worth it). One note: The sandy beach area is not walkable but would be accessible via a snorkel or kayak."

"Highly recommend! The location was fantastic, and there was plenty of room for our family to spread out and relax. One of our favorite parts was being able to walk right down and snorkel in Chocolate Hole Bay.The hosts were exceptional: friendly, responsive, and incredibly communicative throughout our stay. They even offered to help us with roadside assistance when Alamo wasn't being helpful on St. John, We would absolutely stay here again!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Four adults, three kids. House was perfect. Pool was shaded in the afternoon so the kids could swim without concerns of getting burned. Kitchen very well equipped. No AC in main area not an issue, we were there in mid June as doors and windows on all four sides. Great covered porch on upper level perfect for coffee in the morning and relaxing anytime. They provide beach towels, huge packing help. And washing machine and dryer allowed us to wash bathing suits mid trip. Not far from grocery store. Would return every year if the kids would come"

"Our VRBO hostess was fantastic, very detailed in what we needed to bring and do for the trip. We had the best time tooling around in the Mampoo jeep visiting the various beaches for great snorkeling. Maho beach was our favorite for turtle encounters.The weather staying consistently the same is a little freaky, but super great once you accept it. Living in “the birdhouse “ was a lot of fun, and we’d recommend it to anybody. Thanks for letting us stay in your beach getaway."

"It was so hard to leave the hammock on breezy porch! The villa is absolutely charming and comfortable, and clean as a whistle. Very cute and unique architecture inside. Location was easy to find, James met us at our car rental. You get used to driving on the left pretty fast! I wouldn’t do it but husband is a confident and competent driver. Villa had backpack chairs and a cooler we could use. The kitchen was great to cook in, we were “those kind of people” that did bring frozen foods from home. It was worth it to us to save the money. Tap water perfectly drinkable. AC in the bedroom was nice for sleeping although some nights the fans were enough. There’s plenty of room in the villa for two. The laundry was a bonus because we could pack less clothes. It was a delight to return every night from being at the beach all day and have a nice meal on the screened in porch. We didn’t use the pool much but enjoyed the deck at night to watch for constellations and satellites. James is a kind and responsive host. If the place is available, book it!!!"
