The hotel was dirty, most receptionist weren’t the friendliest. The linens seem as if they were never washed, my skin felt so irritated and itchy sleeping on the linen. The room have a grimmey, damp, heavy feel, JUST GROSS. It needs to be renovated& DEEP CLEAN. MY FAMILY AND I COULD NOT WAIT TO CHECK OUT. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Room was really pretty. Had a great view of the ocean. Bathroom door wouldn’t lock so that wasn’t great, but over all it was good. Everything was super clean too. Side note: THERE ARE NO MINI FRIDGES OR MICROWAVES. If that’s something that matters to you (cause it did matter for me and my boyfriend) be prepared. The restaurant were a mess. We went to eat there one night and we waited 30 minutes to be seen, didn’t get seen so we walked up to talk to someone and see if we can place an order. No one was around they were all in the back. I talked to other people who had ordered food and they said they have been waiting 2 hours. Needless to say we just left cause we had a rental car and knew there were other places to eat. Bartender (a gentleman that worked there) was really awesome. The staff were nice for the most part. Parking there is easy and the pool is also really nice. Also super close to a car rental and the airport I definitely would stay here again, I would just manage my expectations.

There was a lot that we really liked about this place. And some things we really disliked about it. To start with the good. The location was great. Easy access to a lot of things. The beach was really beautiful. The food at the restaurant was really good. The service was slow, as people mentioned in other reviews. But that's kind of the island in general. Island time things. I felt it was worth the wait. It was really nice having the jet ski rentals right there. Lime out, for floating tacos was great as well. Now for the negatives. The beds and pillows were probably the worst of any hotel I've slept in. Very uncomfortable. The room was not the cleanest. Not disgusting by any means. But definitely not super clean. The airport is behind the hotel, so the airplanes are very loud on takeoff and landing. But we actually got used to it pretty quickly. And they didn't go late at night, so it didn't disrupt sleep at all. I'm almost not sure if I should mention this, but it was the worst part of the hotel for me. If you are on the ocean side, there are big trees that line the hotel. There are flocks of chickens that roost in those trees every night. I was woken up every morning at 3:30 by the roosters. They crow non-stop between 3:30 and 7:00 a.m. I understand this isn't the hotel's fault. But they could put fake owls or something in the trees to keep them out. Overall, for the price, it's a pretty good hotel. Average price, average hotel.

Restaurant service very slow. Wanted a simple meal upon arrival and they would only allow us to order their specialized valentines meal. Beach too crowded while cruise ship people took over.

Honestly, the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in- we had to leave and stay somewhere else. The amenities are atrocious, staff was rude, place is extremely outdated. The worst of it all was the lack of security. Locals just hanging out in the parking lot and around the property doing drugs and drinking. Came home from dinner with my wife and daughter and was followed. Stay far far away.

We do our homework & this hotel was as expected this not being our first Caribbean trip. Most of the staff met our expectations by being friendly & responsive. However allowing non-guest foot traffic to access the beach via the hotel property takes away from the experience. On other islands there are separate beach access paths between the hotels. This must make it impossible to keep the hotel walkways, stairs, & restaurant floor clean especially after runoff from heavy rain. Also I believe the beach chairs should be marked as "hotel guests only." the palapas spread farther apart & separated from the beach vendors selling cruise ship people chairs adjacent to the hotel.

The bathroom in my room was poorly cleaned. The shower had the previous guest hair on the floor and all over the drain cover, the shower head had soap scum all over it, and the cover to the shower handle was broken. There was hair from the previous guest on the sink and counter. The property lacked attention, the hotel is very dated. I ordered breakfast from the restaurant and it was served cold. I passed a Homeless man on the property my first night coming from my room while walking on the property. The staff was in plain clothes with no name tags so they blended in with the guest. I didn't feel safe walking to my room alone in building four at night which is in the very back of the hotel. The outdoor lighting is very poor on the property at night. I would not stay here ever again nor recommend this property. The only convenience is it's minutes from the airport. Most of the staff was not friendly.

Despite being run down, the hotel was very clean. The beach was very nice and also clean. We also enjoyed the pool area. It served its purpose as we were flying out the next day and it is next to the airport. I would not stay more than 1 night but in my younger years it would have been just fine. I would recommend eating somewhere else but overall I was pleasantly surprised as the hotel was a good value.

First never seemed to have clean towels. The shower was very hard to regulate the temperature it was either very hot or very cold. There was no where to hang wet towels. The staff was not very knowledgeable about the area when asked for recommendations as to any places to eat. It was clean but not a place I would go back to.
