"Everything here was excellent, including the staff, the facilities, the room, the view from the room, the food in the restaurants, the pool, the available water toys (kayak, hobbies, ) and the very attention to details that convey that sense of luxury (ie the shampoo, the towel, the soap, the amazing bedding, etc). They are trying to keep the sargassum away with a barrier and partially succeeding at keeping it under control. The beach is relatively small and facing east."

"St. John was such a magical vacation and the house was absolutely part of it. From the very beginning to the very end, it was absolutely perfect. We never went out to eat at night because the deck and the view was so beautiful we didn’t want to leave. Can’t wait to come back."

"My boyfriend and I had a fantastic stay at the Cozy Cottage. It was the perfect space for two. It is located in a great area; close to town and the beaches but away from the crowd and noise. We hit most of the beaches and went into town at least once a day if not multiple and it was not a hassle. The place was equipped with everything you would need and more such as beach chairs, beach towels, floaties, ice packs, coolers and even a grill. We had a few grill nights which turned out great. The cottage gets a nice natural breeze but there is a fan in the living room and in the bedroom. The bedroom has an AC unit that worked well. The view from the deck and even the shower were fantastic. They had nice lounger chairs and high top tables with stools on the deck. Communication with Greg and Jen was seamless. We only got to meet Greg but he was an incredibly nice guy. Great vibes. We would stay here again! It was a very cute and functional space. Thank you for your hospitality!"

"If you are into history, this property is for you! Such a cool piece of property with ancient ruins to explore. The flowering trees and bushes are gorgeous and really make for a relaxing place to unwind. The pool and deck are made for relaxing, ocean viewing, and star gazing. The house is super cozy and has plenty of room to feel comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped to dine in or blend up a cold refreshing beverage or three. The location of the property is super convenient to the markets, hiking, beaches and shopping. Communication was great with the property manager, Jo! We can’t wait to visit again. "

Elegant, Beautiful, Child-Friendly, Oceanfront Paradise

"We stayed in this villa with 3 generations of family from age 9 months through 75 years. Everyone thought the villa was well designed and enjoyed it. It was spotless. We would all return. We expected and enjoyed the typical, tropical indoor/outdoor style of the villa, with its outdoor staircases. One of the staircases needs new lights and flashlights were provided. The other staircase is lit and beautiful. The kitchen and greatroom design was a pleasure. Some of the pots in the kitchen should not be used because of flaking finishes but we were able to find enough good ones to easily cook meals for everyone. The internet was spotty at times (like everywhere on St. John) and did not work in the bedrooms. The only TV we tried was in one of the bedrooms and did not work. We all enjoyed unplugging! We really enjoyed the AC that worked well in the whole house, as well as the ample supplies (including beach chairs, beach toys, and beach towels). We kept the doors closed and no bugs got into the house. The good swimmers enjoyed the nearby rocky beach . We did not find any "stairs to the water's edge" and the property manager told us that our only beach access was to Klein bay, just a few minutes walk. Driving to beaches is typical of St. John. Kurt (host) and the property manager, Lisa went above and beyond to help us prepare and have a great stay. I can't say enough about how responsive and welcoming they are. Lisa's suggestions made our trip better. "

Sunset Beach: Beachfront Villa! Pool! Hot Tub!

"We travel to St John on a yearly basis. We picked this house because of the waterfront access, the hot tub and the pool. There was some confusion at our arrival, however, we are familiar enough with the island that we were able to find the house ourselves. We were welcomed with a lovely basket of snacks, beverages and some necessities. The house was clean, the beds were comfy. Unfortunately, things went downhill after that. After a long day of traveling and a recent back injury I headed to the hot tub. It wasn’t working properly and wasn’t heating. I called first thing in the am. Was told someone would come out. When we returned to the house that evening the pool had turned green, hot tub still not fixed. The following am was Sunday, nobody answered or returned any of my calls. On the third day workers came and spent the entire day fixing everything.This was an expensive property to rent. I was very disappointed. It is an older home in need of maintenance. There were numerous other small things that needed attention as well. Out of a five day stay I spent the first three days dealing with these problems."
