Parking was right behind the hotel but it was like jumping through hoops unless you knew the area. Most places have a small map to direct you but the front desk just give you an address and say follow it. I spun around for 15 minutes. I also brought my service dog (I called days before to inform them and asked if they needed my doctors papers to bring, they said no but they will note in my reservation. They didn’t, because when I arrived one lady whispered “service dogs can only stay one night? She has 3 nights?” It’s a service dog; she goes where I go.) but I made no fuss or said anything I just stood there waiting for my keys because I called ahead and when I was about an hour out I called to ask for parking to be put on my reservation; which wasn’t I had to double check because I wasn’t given a parking pass. I know house keeping didn’t come through because they probably thought I was leaving my dog unattended but she has a job to preform with me so my room wasn’t cleaned daily but I’m okay with that but I do like fresh towels instead of me going to the front desk and asking for a them

We enjoyed our stay at The Artifact. Clean room and good location in San Diego. Had many amenities including a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and more. Felt home-y and comfortable.

My stay here was amazing the staff was nice and attentive, room was clean with an amazing view. Next time we will stay on the marina side although the bay view was peaceful and beautiful I believe it’s more restaurants to choose from. I definitely plan to stay here again!

This resort was better than expected. My husband my daughter and I stayed for 3 days and wish we would have booked even just one more. The whole resort is so beautiful and convenient. The staff doesn’t let you check in early, after a long drive I needed to rest but literally got there 3:45 and rudely they said check in is at 4:00 pm. So if you plan to get early there is not the choice and if you want to be treated bad for getting there early.
