"We stayed at this property ahead of moving our son into his university dorm. It was a perfect location, easy to get everywhere and a grocery store only a 5 minute walk. There was plenty of room to store our things and we really appreciated the covered car port. The house was very clean and the owners responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again. My only suggestion to future guests would be to bring some sugar packets if you like it in your coffee :)"

"The hotel is dated but clean, beds were comfortable. Tempo restaurant off the lobby is very good. Parking is not included or on site but in the Scotia Square park are which is quite a trek if you don’t have good mobility. Biggest pet peeve was that the elevator and downward escalator to take to you to Level B where the Barrington is located were not operable for our entire week’s stay. The only other minor complaint was that I did not receive a receipt for my $150 deposit /parking fees."

"I was very disappointed that with the extremely high price for a very simple, plain rooms, that there was no continental breakfast! When you pay $600.00 dollars for a room with two beds, the least they could do would be to feed you in the morning. I have stayed in many hotels in Halifax that offer full suites at $350.00 per night that also offer continental breakfast."

"Nice hotel! Beautiful room, great amenities. Loved the outside patio area with access to the pool. Really enjoyed the stay. The worse part was the parking. Confusing to figure out and we couldn't find how to enter the hotel from the underground parking garage- ended up going through the mall that was attached and then outside and in through the main door again. Other guests we passed by expressed this as well. Could have more signage for this issue perhaps."
