"The hotel was lovely. The rooms are small with not a lot of room to relax or use the desk provided. The showers are small and water leaked everywhere. The bathroom shelf was tilted so things kept falling off. The service was incredible. I did like the experience of staying in a historical, beautiful hotel. "

"Moxy is convenient, modern and reasonable. Rooms are comfortable but it’s not a 4 star destination. It’s affordable and located adjacent to downtown, the boardwalk, Citadel etc. It also has a small restaurant with happy hour and decent breakfast, lunch, and dinner—though there are lots of great restaurants in Halifax to check out. "

"I have stayed at Cameo a few times now, generally I have enjoyed my stay. Many reviews mention the noise of the busy nightlife in the surrounding areas that has never bothered me. Howover this stay was disrupted by fellow hotel stayers who were partying loudly in the room next to me well past quiet hour. Cameo was not responsive to my messages regarding the noise. "

"Breakfast was excellent- the best free hotel breakfast I’ve ever encountered! Comfortable bed, lots of pillows, good tv setup. The only minor complaint I have is that the bathroom fan and shower curtain were woefully inadequate."
