Great location!!! Close to the water and restaurants, can easily walk all downtown Halifax from there! Quick responses from Lane. Beautiful space and very clean! Highly recommend!

Conveniently located in the South End of downtown Halifax, this VRBO is in an amazing location. It’s a short walk to the waterfront, great restaurants, Queen’s Marque, and the Public Gardens. I enjoyed the area and felt very safe walking everywhere. The Blue George room looked generally like the listing, but the decor felt less refined in person than in the photos. There was no AC in this unit, but the fan worked well to cool the room. It may be helpful for travelers expecting a traditional inn experience to know that my stay was self-service. Customer service was reliable but primarily through the VRBO app and self-check-in was via a lockbox. There are two parking spots on site, which were full. An unmarked, narrow overflow lot was about a four-minute walk with my suitcase. I enjoyed my stay and the room was cute and served its purpose, but overall this felt like a room rental more than an inn. Given the price, I had expected a boutique-style experience and more attention to detail.

Excellent location, walked everywhere. Host was very responsive to all our questions and helpful. Only problem was a very sticky door that only my husband had the strength to open, close and lock; hope it can be fixed !

A very clean and nice little place. Tastefully decorated and did a great job with using maximizing the space. Great location. Minutes from the waterfront. Parking in the back a little tight. Responsive staff which was great. No A/C but it was an abnormally hot day when we stayed. Comfortable bed. Really enjoyed it and would recommend it.

Our room was by the front door so anytime people came in throughout the night and they were loud you would be woken up. Shower was unfinished hole in ceiling. Cracked tiles on the washroom floor. Light shines from the hall way under door.
